The Civic Atomic Cup marks the return to national routes of the emblematic Honda Civic Type-R. A competition with Motor Sponsor signature that includes a total of 5 double rounds.

 

A calendar starting on the 2nd and 3rd of April, at the Estoril Circuit. This is followed by trips to the Vila Real International Circuit, from the 1st to the 3rd of July, and to the Estoril Circuit, on the 24th and 25th of September. The fourth round is destined for the Autódromo Internacional do Algarve, from the 28th to the 30th of October, with the season ending at the Estoril Circuit, on the 12th and 13th of November.

 

The Civic Atomic Cup features a weekend format with two practice sessions, free and timed, and two races lasting 25 minutes. The teams are made up of one to two drivers and the car chosen is a Honda Civic Type-R (EP3), a version sold between 2001 and 2006.

All Honda Civic Type-R (EP3) models have exactly the same specifications and Motor Sponsor has two options for participating: purchase of a race-ready car with trophy specifications (€15,000) or a Preparation Kit (€3,750 + VAT), distributed exclusively by Atomic Shop. The kit allows drivers and teams that already own a Honda Civic Type-R (EP3), or choose to purchase a road car, to adapt it to the trophy's specifications.
