Dear Drivers and Teams,

Before we begin, we need to inform you that we have 42 teams 100% confirmed and another 10 to 15 teams in the decision-making process! It's SPECTACULAR!

The 24H C1 Portimão is just around the corner. On the 6th and 7th of December, we will meet at the Algarve International Racetrack. Below, we share information about the race, which we ask you to read carefully:

Schedule (provisional) – available here.

Equipment provided by the organization:

Below is a list of equipment provided by the organization. We ask teams to contact João Garrido (+351 968 622 762), who is responsible for ordering equipment/spares, as soon as possible so that we can guarantee stock availability.

  • Size: 155/65R14

  • Brand: APTANY

  • Unit price: €68 + Ecovalor + VAT

Orders and payments must be made before the race with the Motor Sponsor’s responsible. They will be delivered and fitted at the AIA or sent in advance, with transport costs applied.

Tyres will not be cut this year, as this is not permitted.

Brake pads (PT rules):

  • Sole supplier: SDT

  • Unit price: €120 + VAT

Orders and payments must be made before the race with the Motor Sponsor’s responsible. They will be delivered to the AIA or sent in advance, subject to transport costs.

Exhaust | €175 + VAT

Exhaust manifold | €110 + VAT

Note 1: Tyres and brake pads have a single supplier and must be purchased from the organization for teams with Portuguese cars with PRO, AM and GEN1 specifications. Teams with cars with UK, DK, BE or other specifications are responsible for ensuring their own stock of material in accordance with the regulations of the country in question.

Note 2: Teams from other countries must follow their own regulations regarding tyres and brakes.

Fuel (ALL):

There will be a refueling area with a 95 petrol tank in the paddock where all teams must refuel.

Teams must fill their jerry cans at the fuel station and must use tuff jugs to refuel the C1s during the race.

All teams must leave a deposit of 900€ for the fuel to be consumed during the entire race + 200€ for the service during the 2 days. The price per litre is set the day before the race.

At the end, all teams must go to the Motor Sponsor stand, at a location to be announced, to settle the balance according to the fuel each team has consumed.

To facilitate logistics for everyone in the race, we ask teams to pay their deposits in advance to the organization manager, João Garrido (+351 968 622 762).

Racing License:

Internacional teams: a valid National Sports License B or higher for the current year with Start Permission is mandatory. This is included in the license itself or, if not, must be requested from the federation responsible for issuing it.

FIA approval (driver equipment):

Drivers must wear FIA-approved racing suits, gloves, boots, balaclavas, HANS devices, helmets and fireproof undergarments, as defined in Chapter II of Annex L to the CDI and Art. 11.2 of the PGAK, under penalty of disqualification.

FIA approval (C1 seat belts and seats + fire extinguishers):

FIA-approved seat belts with at least 5 points, listed in technical lists 24 (8853/98 and 8854/98) and 57 (8853-2016), are mandatory.

Only FIA competition seats listed in technical lists 12 (FIA 8855-1999), 40 (8862-2009) and 91 (8855-2021) are permitted and must use the original fixing points and rails.

Seat belts or seats with damaged, altered or removed FIA homologation labels are not permitted.

Fire extinguishers must be within their expiry date.

Box:

All teams are assigned a (shared) pit box.

The use of pit boxes requires the payment of a deposit (amount subject to confirmation), which is the responsibility of the team(s).

Teams with three or more cars have an exclusive box.

The space in front of the pit on the paddock side can be used for the logistics required by the teams. It is mandatory to leave the (tarmac) road immediately outside the box unobstructed.

After the end of the event, all teams must leave the pit and paddock area completely clean (no tyres, parts, spilled fuel or other items), otherwise they will not receive a refund of the deposit and will also have to pay an additional fee to be determined by the AIA for cleaning.

On a technical level, they must comply with the usual technical regulations for the C1 trophy, with the particularity that cutting the tyre tread is not permitted.
